As a Leafs fan I would love to see the Leafs move on from Nylander. Would love to get Tkachuck but Mangiapane makes more sense contract wise. But I don't see Calgary trading him after losing Tkachuck and Johhny. They still have to put together a lineup of some sort and he is still young.

Why on earth would the leafs do that? Nylander is better, Mangiapane will cost near as much and they throw in a good middle 6 guy? Nonsensical

Hurts a lot to move on from Kyrou, but Blues probably say yes because Calgary would say he’s 100% part of any deal.

Tkachuk will cost more or that offer will be beat elsewhere.

Trading 5+ years of Mangiapane for 2 years of Nylander is horrible asset management.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but he’s right. This is terrible for Toronto. Mangiapane isn’t as good as Nylander is

Yea maybe Magiapane isn't as good as Nylander. But Kerfoot and Nylander have a total of three controllable years and cap hit of this year of 10,5m
Gee, I would take Mangiapane for lets say a signed 6m X 4 years and 4.5m in additional cap for the Leafs anytime

I get ur thought process but I think the difference in talent is wider than you do. Unless I’m mistaken, Mangiapane had a very very high shooting percentage last year.
