BOS
  1. Dumoulin, Brian
  2. 2023 2nd round pick (PIT)

Bruins need cap space, but they need DeBrusk more. Respectfully decline.

Chiarot, Maatta, Oesterele, and Walman is the left side….
Pettersson would be the 2nd best LD on that team

Edvinsson looks like he's starting the season in Detroit as well.

Ah did not know that, but i can see Stevie Y going after Pettersson if he moves another LD since he is a young
D-Man that can benefit from a change of scenery. in this trade it’s low risk high reward since you gain a 5th round pick and only lose a 4th line guy

I was all for getting Petterson before they signed all these guys. I don't understand why Pitt wants to dump him.

the signings were meant to address needs. Hronek has played with horrible LHD and those players played zero 'D'. Mattaa was brought in as a compliment to Hronek, to see if their is a right kind of player to play to and cover up Hronek's play. Charoit was brought in to again help Seider and play to his strengths and weakness's. Peterson is a nicce player but he does not seem to fit what Yzerman has or is doing.

So to say that maybe be true but it take chemistry and knowledge to get the right player and I believe that is what Stevie is doing

We have a logjam at LD and our cap is stretched pretty thin right now so trading him would give us more flexibility to help out our bottom-6 forward group
