Agreed! If I were Calgary I would ask for one more prospect to this package such as Shakir Mukhamadulin. But Holts + 1st will be the baseline in my mind. Johnson for cap reasons (and he can still play). Sharangovich has has 2 good years, has a good cap hit and is still an rfa at year end. I see New Jersey being a highly probable landing spot for Tkachuk.

A deal with New Jersey is a lot more simplistic than a deal with St Louis in my mind. New Jerseys cap flexibility makes it a lot easier to pull off.

I would be okay with including Mukhamadulin in the deal but either Dube or a 2023 2nd would have to come back also

I love Kerfoot, so it pains me to say this since we'd be losing him, but mannn, why do I feel like he'd be so appreciated and awesome in Calgary?

he's a good player! It seems probable that he gets traded though. I see Calgary being a good fit for him. We will see what Dubas decides! Either Kerfoot and Holl or Muzzin.

Makes sense to me! 2024 2nd going back to Devils + Muk going to Calgary.

This would be a huge trade! But it would be awesome for New Jersey and this is a good package for Calgary.

Yeah, I'm very nervous and excited to see what he does. I love Kerfoot and Muzzin, so I'm expecting to be a little hurt, but I love what he's done so far. Kerfoot in Calgary is a beautiful fit, indeed. I would love to see that if he's gone.

Remove the Kerfoot trade. Monahan will be healthy and there's no spot for him. Especially with Pelletier coming up

I posed this in the description "Also, is Monahan out long term? Did i hear he had hip surgery? Do we know when to expect him back?"

No one answered. Do you have any more details?

Monahan got hip surgery in like March. He started skating again last month and should be back for training camp
