I think this could be beneficary for both teams, the avs get asset and a young defender who can replace Manson in the long run, and cap space to sign Kadri for Girard, and the sens get their top 4 defender they desperately need

What would ottawa need to add more to get him? Cuz my thought process is that Avs have been rumoured to try and move him, but they aren't in rush to do so. but at the same time, I feel like Kadri wants to come back to the avs after going to the market, and i feel the feeling is mutual from the avs. However, they can't give him the money he wants since the avs need to sign Mackinnon to his new contract next szn, so they should try and move salary and I think Girard is the perfect candidate to being trade if they go for Kadri. Whgich could put the avs in a desperate situation of getting rid of him

Rumored to move, and required(look at the Bjorkstrand trade) are different things. Girard is far more valuable to them than Kadri is. Let's be real. He's a 24 year old d man. Signed to a VERY good cap friendly deal. You're easily looking at an equally as young player, that preforms nearly at the same level, while being on a 2-3m cheaper deal for 1-2 more years. And then either depth pieces/later picks(3rd's at best) or higher round picks and or prospects that "you kinda know what you're getting".

I can see them having interest in Brännström or Pinto. But I feel Pinto is too much.
