Typical replies for Senators fans. These are the final pieces Ottawa needs for their push into a playoff team.

Nah, if anything Pinto is that piece. He's shown a whole lotta promise for his 2-way game, which is exactly what the Sens need more of.

a KHL right winger is what they need more than an NHL-ready defensive middle 6 rookie? lol you're funny

I cannot disagree. But, the good thing about the scoring Dorion added thus far, is that it means adding Kravtsov is looking for an additional element of size and speed within your top 9.

In the case of Jones, whether it's middle or bottom six, he has the skating, hands and passing ability your team needs on the blue line for continuity, behind Chabot and Sanderson.

Pinto, following Zibanejad (sorry) and Trocheck, continues the trend of centermen they're looking to implement. When I look at the likes of Lodin and Kastelic to center your bottom six lines, potentially, losing Pinto in such a trade isn't without players to cushion the blow.

have you seen the Sens’ current 3rd line wingers? Alex Formenton and Mathieu Joseph? you think that what the bottom 6 needs is more speed?
