I see 0 reason for the Ducks to give up Silfverberg especially for that

Ducks don't go near that deal without some serious futures coming back. Silfy is one of the few pieces of talent currently in their prime the ducks have left on the roster.

LOL - Foegele has more value than Sifverberg.

How? Did Silvferberg become an Amputee
or something
had 21 pts in 53 GP compared to Foegele’s 26 in 82 GP what am i misssing here, Jakob is the better player & has better value than a 3rd liner

Cool, you keep Foegele, we will keep Silfverberg, and best of luck getting past Calgary and Colorado this year.

Would you have traded Yakupov for Danault with the benefit of hindsight?

Evans has a similar rate of production as Puljujarvi, but he can play all situations and doesn't get favorable deployment or PP time.
I know who I'd prefer and Montreal respectfully declines. Not really a need for another winger anyway.

Love Evans, but with MTL rebuilding, i think they'd have to take that gamble. Puuljujarvi have so much more potential to be a top 6. Evans is a bottom 6 player on a rebuilding team.

Perhaps. I think he'll want more money based on potential and don't see him performing better here than in Edmonton.

$5.25M for a guy who posted just 5 goals and 21 points last year, and 8 goals / 16 points the year before? Do you really need to ask the question?? Dude is 32 at the start of next season too.

Yeah, I'd rather have the 26 year old who posted more goals and points in each of the last 2 seasons and costs about half as much.

Duh.

21 points in 53 games on a career low shooting percentage below 5%. Dude can score just fine when he shoots, he's been training the kids last two seasons.

Your boy Foegle had 5 more points on double the shooting percentage and 30 more games.

We'll keep Silfy, you keep Foegle, and we agree neither team would take this trade.

Nah, Anaheim would jump at this offer. It's just deluded fans who think otherwise. Training the kids! laugh laugh laugh
