Canes have already worked out the RHD problem with Burns and Coghlan, and we still have Chatfield and Bear that we have to figure out. Canes dont need nor want a garbage dman who would just be a wasted roster spot in Chicago.

Carolina has Burns, Pesce, Chatfield, Coghlan... still have Ethan Bear to re-sign... why would they give up picks for the pleasure of spending 2 million on an AHL D man?

Canes pass. Holl isn’t worth two mid picks and certainly not to the Canes if he were. They’ve got too many D and especially too many RD. He wouldn’t crack the lineup unless 3 guys got hurt.
