LA doesn't want Muzzin and can't afford him

Jake Muzzin is a negative asset. You would probably have to get him to waive for Chicago in a Kane trade and pay extra to dump him too.

All teams decline. Kings don’t have the cap spce and it’s gonna cost to move muzzin. Kane will cost a 23 first and top prospect even more with retention.

Not a chance Chicago accepts that offer. Knies or Robertson plus the 1st need to be included.

Also news for all the Leafs fans who think Knies is the 2nd coming, Wheeler published his top 50 prospect list and Knies didn't make it in the top 50. Robertson did but was #47 I believe. I've seen Leafs fans thinking Knies is a top 20 prospect and don't agree with that nor does Wheeler.

For Hawks fans, Reichel was ranked at #41, Korchinski at #30, and Nazar at #26...which puts Robertson and Knies in perspective (Knies is one of the most overrated prospects on this website).

With Mikey Anderson and Sean Durzi to re-sign (giving us 7 defensemen) and 15 forwards under contract already (including the just-re-signed Gabe Vilardi), any trades from this point on will have to be at least cap-neutral and roster-neutral for Los Angeles, and this one is neither.

LMAO the best passer in the game, best American born player ever, and an absolute game changer for the playoffs; doesn't matter if he's a UFA. I'm also betting he won't agree to go to a Canadian team but who knows.

Knies wasn't even on Scott Wheeler's top 50 prospects outside the NHL posted today on theathletic.
Meanwhile prospects like Lane Hutson chosen at 62OA this past draft was at 46th. I can imagine the butt hurt from Toronto fans.
