I think the value's decent (you'd have to swap Hoffman with Drouin for EK65 reasons and make that 2023 1st top-5 protected) but Sharks management seems content to suck for the next two years so Sharks shouldn't shell out any 1st round picks (or picks in general) and just keep Vlasic for the next year, maybe even two, and then trade him our buy him out.

Savard is a year older than Zaistev and he isn't really an improvement in skill either. So to swap a 1st for a 2nd to only save a million in cap and add an extra year is a huge no.

Savard has positive value, there's plenty of other ACGM here who trade for him, i can understand if you say he isn't a match for your system but saying he's older and makes only a million less should be a factor, he's a D who'll eat for you quality minutes unlike zaitsev
