Description
Hope you enjoy my predictions! Comment below what you think. I did this in the most realistic way possible ASSUMING Bergeron and Krejci are ready and the B’s can float above 500 for the games without McAvoy and Marchand. The east will be tough this year but I think Ottawa has what it takes. The Metro was really big wildcard of if 4 could make it but I chose 3 and chose Washington JUST BECAUSE of Kuemper. It was tough in the west but if Vegas is healthy, I think they make it. The Pacific I honestly still think Nashville is contending, but people like the Blues better but trust me, I think Nashville’s got a shot. I think the Rangers are going to win the cup. They just look like a good team and make me think the have one of the best odds cause I don’t think the avs will repeat just because of Kuemper and possibly Kadri. Let me know your thoughts. (don’t make it too mean cause these are just my opinions.) give me counter proposals. :) Happy off-season!

I think Nashville steals a spot from Dallas or Minny. And I’d have Vancouver in there somehow

I'd probably go out on a limb and take Nashville and Winnipeg in the playoffs and LA and Dallas out

Looks decent. I think Pittsburgh is a lock for the playoffs though... IIRC Tampa finished well back of 1st place in the regular season, why do you project them to jump up in the standings?

Another one I'd question is Los Angeles... a 100 point team last year, but a bunch of their core players are really old and the younger players aren't turning out as good as many thought.
- Kopitar is 35 next month and just posted his best offensive season in 4 years, unlikely to repeat.
- Quick is 36 and just posted his best season in 4 years, unlikely to repeat.
- Doughty is 33 later this year and is wearing down. His P/GP was better than it's ever been (extremely unlikely to repeat) but he played less than half the season.
- Arvidsson and Danault are 29 and just posted their best offensive seasons in 3 year and ever, respectively.

Not sure they can hold off Vancouver and Nashville, TBH.

So you think having Kuemper is enough to overcome the first half of the season without Backstrom and Wilson?

Honestly is Huberdeau from the Panthers and the Lightning really didn’t do much bad. I just liked them and Toronto is a HUGE ? Because of there goalies.

I think LA has a better chance of making the playoffs than Vegas. LA is going to be really good
