This team could snake a playoff spot

Created by: xercuses
Team: 2022-23 Seattle Kraken
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 25, 2022
Published: Jul. 25, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
It’s an extremely deep offense but without a true superstar YET (Wright and beneirs will be) but breakout years from both there young Cs, bounce back from a couple key players (which I think will easily happen with Grub, labanc, and Schwartz) this team is looking good
Having an amazing defense will help too

I don’t see San Jose adding a pick here. 1 for 1 swap wouldn’t be bad though

He only played a 1/4 of the year due to injury and when he was playing Boughner stapled him to the 4th line with a bunch of shmucks. I don’t think it’s fair to say he had a bad year this year, more of an incomplete. I say 1 for 1 since they have almost the same cap hit and term and neither really have places on their teams at the moment.

Definitely no to the 4th rnd pick of the trade. They're both bad for their contracts at about the same cost but I'd rather keep Labanc around to see if he rebounds. Also SJ needs right shooting wingers more than left shooting centers

I wouldn't include a draft pick. If you want a 1:1 swap between Labanc and Wennberg, then Sharks gladly accept.

Except Wennberg *actually* had a bad year and Labanc was injured after only 20 or so games and never returned while Bob lined him up on the 4th line taking primarily defensive zone starts.
