I don't think Vegas lets Theodore go, let alone retains salary. He stays healthy and largely earns that contract.

I can't tell if this is a joke making fun of Vegas but just in case it's not, I'll explain why they would never do this. Both Patches and Fleury were on an expiring contract that cost 7 mil. Fleury was 36 and Patches is also on the older side. Patches has also had some serious injury issues, despite being great when he does play. Theodore has nothing in common with any of this. He's young, on a great contract and has term left.
