Blues accept. That’s a massive cap dump when we need it most next summer. Hurts to lose Schenn but that contract won’t age well. Hell, make it a 2nd and you can keep Smith.

100% agree, but the penguins have like 5 other contracts on their roster when Sid leaves that won’t age well either, so that’s a down the road problem. I think this is a win/win for what both teams are looking to do now.
