Your point is irrelevant. Nobody is untouchable. The Wings have more of a need for Marner then they do for Matthews. Top winger who can score, play PP/PK and change the game for you.

The whole trade is a non starter; maybe wings fans are a bit giddy now that their team does not look to be the absolute sh$t show which they have been been for a…long time now. But leaf’s will still finish ahead of them and Marner ain’t going anywhere, end of story.

Well yeah. A More realistic package is something like Bert@50%+top10 protected 1st for Marner. No need to have 9 pieces moving in one trade either.

Thats a joke trade. You think Bertuzzi and a protected is fair value for Marner? Why dont you look at the trade return for Tkachuk and then lets re evaluate.

I guess I love elite forwards that can generate chances at a ridiculous rate, lead (or very near the top of ) the league in primary assists, top 10 in takeaways, runs a pp, elite pk, 2 time nhl first team all star, lock for Team Canada…but on your side you have your opinion which , well - you might want to keep that to yourself.

Why don’t you save your helpful feedback until your team has actually made the playoffs, or if that’s too high a bar - when you have not finished in the bottom 10. Your team has been a joke for past 5-6 years, so doubtful we need advice from you
