As a Leaf fan I am required to despise everything about the Canadiens. But I personally feel the Suzuki contract ages well. Also, no one predicted Monahan to fall off the map like he has. Finally, I still don't hate the Wheeler contract. Much like some other contracts in the league, there is a Leadership element in a contract that can't be measured. Just my opinion anyway. Cheers.

If you’re basing it like the Athletic, guys with only one year left like Monahan, Lucic, and JVR shouldn’t be on here. David Savard should though, he was an HM. So were Hampus Lindholm and Drew Doughty

Yea, but Monohan, Lucic, and JVR where very overpaid for 1 year (also why i put them on the bottom). I don't get how I can replace 3 forwards with 3 Dmen?

I guess if you’re building a 14/7/2 roster it’s fine. Couldn’t hurt to put Savard or whoever on the wing though, not like he’s gonna play worse lol
