Considering Valimaki's in Suter's doghouse I'd just offer future considerations to clear them a contract spot.

I don't think Valimaki fills any need on the Habs, but the Flames suddenly have a surplus of RHD with Andersson, Tanev, Meloche, Weegar (LD/RD), Kylington (LD/RD). At the same time, they have Hanifin, Valimaki and Zadorov (LD/RD). I know the Flames just signed him, but Meloche could be a decent mid-term body for the Habs.

Considering Sutter likes to run 7 Dmen, it's not a huge concern. We could just flip him for a pick to one of the many teams lacking D.
