I think the first one is self explanatory, NSH cap space $3,353,857

All I'll say is Hawks won't retain on Murphy as he is easily worth his cap hit and the 3 retention spots teams are allowed is worth more to the Hawks as they weaponize they cap space and rebuild over Sandin.

That said, you can make it work without the retention so minor detail.

Chicago rejects... I like Sandin, but I can't see Chicago using one of their retention spots for the next 4 years to retain only 400k. Also Chicago has a lot of LD in their System and adding Sandin would worsen it. Davidson would probably prefer picks for Murphy

Yeah bit of an oversight on my part. After the trade they would still need 2 M or so cap space. I can’t think of anyone on their roster they would dump.

Canucks can’t even get Justin Holl thrown in?

Was messing around and didn’t realize I had enough cap space to make it work. Thanks for the points. I removed. But as you say, Hawks have lots of LD in system.

Sorry I guess I forgot the 8 1st rounders and Knies that Miller is worth.

NJD or NYI are the only teams who have the cap, been in on some big names this summer, as possible destinations if you are considering a Nylander trade. Otherwise going to have to pick a team and take cap back to make it work

You can have him, Sens says No Holl doesn't move the needle enough for their D core. They need to keep and cap and roster spots for prospects coming in this season.

Vancouver declines. Kerfoot has no value to Vancouver and Tomasino and a 1st doesn't get you Miller.

Yeah cause there are only two options: a massive lowball or a sarcastic overpay. Great discourse
