Pesce isn’t getting moved unless a better defenseman on a just as good contract is coming back (fyi there aren’t many of those in the league and certainly none in EDM).

Why would the Canes accept a garbage package for Pesce? Even if Pesce was being shipped, your starting point would be Bouchard, Holloway, and a first. Anything less as a starting point and the Canes just hang up.

Carolina is arguably a better team than Edmonton, why would they ship of pieces of one of the best cores in the league for next to nothing?
