You realize they both bring less than Reaves also? Simmonds and Clifford will drop the gloves against a softer player while Reaves will do anyone and 98% of the league is afraid of him. He’s better in the locker room. He’s the highest paid tough guy for a reason…sorta like the high skilled players are the highest paid… a year ago I would have had a similar take as you though, because I never actually saw or could appreciate his game. I’ve seen more of simmonds and Clifford. One is a small fraction of his younger self in PHI and the other is AHL quality at best(no question).
