While I have no problem moving Johnston Lou did just extend him for 4 years so probably not getting moved.

A 1st, Wahlstrom and Raty is too much for Miller. The Isles would offer 1st, Holmstrom, Wilde. If that is not enough ok, Isles will play with what they have.

Ok, this is probably why a deal for Miller has not happened yet. VAN wants to maximize their return by waiting while teams are not willing to spend the assets being asked for.

Enjoy watching him in a Canucks Jersey until the trade deadline then. Hope he produces the same and stays healthy

I'll bank on him at least being a PPG next season, and maybe even for another 2 after that. He'll still fetch a solid return right now, just won't be a kings ransom like some galaxy brain he will

I would expect him to get a fiala or debrincat type return

Same. I wouldn't be disappointed if that ends up being the resolution to the Miller saga

Stop playing NHL GM video games. Isles wouldn't accept that deal simply because Raty looks to be a top 6 player, and Miller doesn't even come with an extension. Why the hell would the Isles make that move for a 29-year-old player who is a 1-year rental? Stop trying to get max value out of Isles prospects/pieces because your previous GM bungled your roster and cap space. A better offer would be Beauviller, Bolduc, and a 1st round draft pick. Make a counteroffer that doesn't include prospects like Raty or Dufour and I'd listen.

Miller is also a 29-years-old, and Fiala and DeBrincat are not anywhere near that age. Stop overvaluing assets because you think they'll magically keep up 100-point paces at the age of 29 when they've never done that. This isn't Patrick Kane or Steven Stamkos- Miller's not going to remain up at 100 points for long. Isles don't exist to fix your damn problems.

Nobody said Miller will ever score 100 points again, but he's been a PPG since he came to Vancouver, that's still something
