OTT may not the right team for Holl, they have 3 RD locked in already and Brannstrom to sign (who is listed as playing both sides of the ice).

The only way I can see WPG being interested in Kerfoot is that they only have 9 forwards signed with Appleton needing a new contract. I would imagine Kerfoot would be a last ditch effort to fill out the roster.

You think the jets can afford another overpaid 3rd liner? There are better options for them internally to promote than to acquire kerfoot.

Core four trades will stop when the Holl/Muzzin/Kefoot trades stop I would think. Maybe after the Sandin/Robertson trades also. Or the Nylander trades. Leafs fans like making moves, so until a move is made I don’t think it stops lol

How many overpaid 3rd liners do the Jets have that put up 50 points, 47 of them at even strength?

If the Jets had a few "overpaid 3rd liners" that could do that they wouldn't be such a ****ty team.

I get kerfoot put up the points, like you pointed out. But when we think about how he’d be deployed on the jets, he’d be an overpaid 3rd liner that gets stuck with the anchor that is Lowry and we know what happens next. Production plummets. I’m trying to look at it realistically, especially now with Bowness who very clearly has a top 6 bottom 6 style of coaching. Jets won’t have room in the top 6 for kerfoot and he’s not going to get paired with the quality of linemates he had in Toronto.

You're likely right, they're doomed!

Lol, yes that’s how I feel and why my feelings have changed about the direction of this team. I used to be one who thought things could be retooled and window could be extended. Now I truly believe we are going to witness a tear down this year. If they are in a bad spot come TDL time I’d expect to see some biiiiig changes.

Like what is gonna change with the same lineup under Bowness? They'll tighten up defensively but they still won't score enough from what I can see, cant imagine the bottom six is suddenly going to find a scoring touch, he had a way better defense in Dallas too.
