I feel insane but like if we’re doing this Id want Milano too and waive Ross to replace him

Something like
Brock-Barzal-Milano
Beau-Kadri-Wahlstrom
Lee-Pageau-Palmieri
Parise-Cizikas-Clutterbuck
Seems a lot more appealing to me but like I still absolutely don’t like it

So you want to get rid of Bailey and Panik so you can create an even worse contract?

Bailey for two years or Kadri for five?

Hell if you want a more extreme comparison

Ladd for two years or Palmieri for four?

I don’t want Kadri I just feel like this is the type of move Lou makes and I’m fully expecting it to happen so I’m preparing mentally

I do not want Kadri on this team, long term it would be a mistake but I think Kadri on the Isles next year is more likely than him not joining the team

Lou signed him to his last contract in Toronto. I have to think part of the reason it was a six year deal was because he didn’t want him after his age 32 season. Or he knew he wouldn’t be getting the best out of him at that point.

I’m probably the only person who is fine with how this off season has gone. Lou brought in Romanov to get Dobson a long term D partner and he got a guy who is friends with Sorokin. I also liked his draft picks so in my mind I’m good with this because at least he hasn’t made any huge mistakes so far.

Yeah but we’re still easily short a scoring winger still and there’s been nothing to increase the teams longevity up front with minimal prospects.. just a bad thought but who knows
