Barzal is worth much, much, much more than Monahan, Bottom pair D and a late first in 3 years.

You are WAY off on the barzal value here.. if someone wants him next off-season he’s gonna cost 4 firsts thru an OS isles have zero reason to move him for less now

I am honestly wondering what CGY fans see in Valimaki. He is 23 so not exactly young and can't seem to stick in the NHL despite multiple chances to do so by multiple coaching staffs.

Take out the Ducks first and Valimaki

Not every prospect is ready at 23, especially for defence. Plus, Kylington took took the open spot last season. Kylington also just played his first full pro season at 25 and played in the top 4.
Valimaki missed a full year of development in the 19-20 season due to injury then put up a ppg in Liiga as a 21 year old.
Valimaki still has top 4 D potential

Weegar for example is a top 4 D and didnt get into the league until 24.
