Description
I've seen a lot of Trades for Nylander and Mangiapane. However, it doesnt resolve the Leaf's cap woes, so I took a stab at Marner instead. I'm fully expecting every Leaf's fan to say that it should be 4 1st round picks as well. Everyone is tradeable. Toronto will have just $15,119,384 in cap space next year to sign 9 roster spots. Bunting will need a raise or a replacement on the top line. My point is that Toronto is going to become very top Heavy with 4 players eating up 49.7% of their cap. Also, not sure this pays huge dividend for Calgary despite what Toronto fans will say. Anderson would have been their only top pairing D signed at a reasonable cap hit past 2023-2024. Thus it would put Calgary in a tight spot having to resign the majority of their D core or over pay in FA.
