No you wouldn't. Myers at full cap can return a late pick. Myers retained raises what you'd expect for him. It makes no sense for the Canucks to eat 50%, but I can see 2m eaten.

Buffalo also has 0 need for anything to be retained on Myers, and are probably quite content with Lyubushkin. Getting a solid 3rd pairing RD and a 1st round pick for Myers are some lofty expectations, retained or not.

If you take out the 1st and Lybushkin it might be fair, but I think if the Sabers wanted to it would have been done already.
