To each his own but I’d advise against any trades with Canuckle fans, the heat is getting to them . They think miller is way more valuable than anyone else does. Time will tell. Also, I would never trade within division unless absolutely required; Kerfoot is a really useful player & I’d hate to see him wearing a SENs jersey unsure

IMO the Canucks should and would take that offer and run, Robertson is NHL ready, Niemela is projected to be a legit RHD and they get a 1st + Holl who can give them some defense for this year. But yeah they are all extremely reasonable. If we were to trade Kerfoot to another team out of division do you have an idea of teams that could use him? i was thinking he could slot in well in Minni too maybe with Boldy's line

I agree that there's some Canucks fans who are asking the moon for Miller, but I don't think this offer really comes close at all, either. Robertson's injury history makes him more of a B-tier prospect to me - high ceiling but high risk that he doesn't stay healthy enough to live up to the potential. Niemela is a very good prospect, the 1st rounder is probably in the 20s which hinders the value, and the Holl & two 3rds part of the deal basically covers the cost of Schenn & the retention. So I could see Vancouver wanting a little more certainty back in this deal than they're getting.

Ultimately, I hope we can keep him - he’s super valuable especially at only $3.5M ($750 K actual money). But if not, I think we have to wait for dominoes to fall; whoever misses out on Kadri maybe? Not saying he’s at Kadri’s level but other than him, I don’t see any FA centres at Kerfoot’s level. Target teams would be contenders with space or non contenders that have actual money (not cap) issues .

That makes a lot of sense to me, i do like Kerfoot a lot too and i would keep him if they could make the cap space work another way. Maybe they move Holl or one of the $5million dmen instead, im looking forward to seeing how it shakes out and where they get the cap space to sign Sandin
