It took the Rangers 7 games against the Canes backup and 3rd goalie, what makes you think they will beat the Canes in 5 with Freddie in net?

Rangers have better goaltending, and I see their young players like Lafrenière and Kakko growing and becoming bigger contributors. Carolina got older, and I wonder if Burns and Pacioretty hold up for the entire season. I think they'll regret losing Niederreiter too. Also, when in doubt, pick the team with better sweaters.

Adding Slafkovsky isn’t going to take them from worst in the league to 5th in the Atlantic lol. With that logic, Sabres should be 4th, with the Owen Power, Jack Quinn, and JJP bump.

BUF does have some nice prospects coming up for sure, but their goaltending is AHL quality. I think if the Habs get decent play from their goalies, they could surprise everyone and be the mid range team they have enough talent to be.
