I think I would rather do this with Kadri than Klingberg.

While I think it wasnt the original objective it turned out fine in the end, he played terrible, didnt have anything to do with the team, really low risk play to get a high pick? Not my money thats getting spent.

A free first in a extremely good draft for a few million dollars? Why not? Anyone saying no literally has no clue what they're talking about. And of course, it's always the same guys. Go figure.

Im putting myself in the shoes of Pegula who has been losing money on this team, specifically in the last 2 years.

Well I am sure the way to win back the fans is to only reach the cap floor and do nothing more than that

I can't respond to the post you're responding too, because I have him on my DND so I'll respond too you. Yeah the Pegulas have been losing money on the Sabres but they're making millions hand over fist on the Bills. Of course the Bills are their golden children but I think they finally realized they can't keep neglecting the Sabres. Only way too fix the Sabres is through good development and smart money spending. Signing a good player, weather it's Kadri or Klingberg, with the thought to flip him at rhe trade deadline, for at the very least a 1st, is smart money spending.

Theyre loaded with prospects already, part of the reason theyre at the cap floor. Waste money on a scheme to get a late first which will ultimately have to be reflected on the price of tickets and merch, or keep this team one of the more affordable, for the fans, in the league. Im sure the Hall experience left a bitter taste in everyones mouth as well, unlike the fan base on here apparently
