Joe Thornton on the last line as we pay him 7mill? There's no way in hell...

If they'd flip out Martin for Leivo they could run 4 lines all day. I'd be okay with Thornton on the 4th line, but not with Matt Martin. Leivo/Thornton/Kapanen would be a very entertaining line.

Terrible offers for Gudas and Ellis. There is ZERO chance Philly trades Gudas for those spare parts. We'd be getting another LHD that would be probably our 3rd or 4th best defensive prospect and a 4th liner. If Nielsen was a RHD then maybe they would consider it but Gudas has an amazing contract and brings a lot more to the team than those guys do now and even in the future.

The Philly and Nashville trades are actually quite reasonable. Good work.

A deal based around JVR doesn't get you Ryan Ellis try more like Nylander for starters.

Ellis has two years left. Not worth Nylander. He will be getting a big pay raise

Larkining on whatever your name was before on the site before? You have no idea what 60 point scorers on their ELC are worth. Leafs shouldn't trade him for upcoming UFA in two years. Be like jets trading Laine for Ellis...that would be stupid for Jets, or Aho for Ellis....that would stupid for Canes. Now if the Wings had any young prospects as good an Nylander or Laine or Aho, I would use them as an example, but since they don't, I can't.
