Klingberg doesnt seem to want a 1 year deal and the cap isnt going up for the next few years and regression could hit Klingberg soon. It's a difficult position he finds himself.
A 1 year term would be the best option for him but that seems off the table FOR NOW!

They need a real Tandem goalie to play there
They can also flip him at a later date like they did Kuemper
Give them 2nd and Conditional 3rd that only converts if Hoffman doesnt hit 40pts (had 35 and 36pts the last 2 seasons)

If he was a 200ft player people wouldnt care so much but he's not
