Additional Details:
Luke Richardson (fmr OTT asst. HC and then Binghamton Sens HC) just added to Isles staff under Weight. He gets the opportunity to coach one of his old players (who I assume signs 5 year, $30M extension)

Additional Details:
Sens have many important contracts expiring on the horizon (Karlsson, Stone, Ceci, Anderson etc) and will likely not be able to pay Turris $6M AAV. Their forward depth is talented enough. Hamonic still has 3 years left on a very favorable contract. In fact, this trade only increases their cap by $300K for 1 year, the remaining 2 of Hamonic saves $2.2M per season compared to Turris' assumed new contract.

Kelly Buchberger (current EDM front office executive) is also expected to become an Isles bench coach under Weight. He too gets a familiar face.

EDM saves $3.5M immediately off of their books and will be able to resign Nelson after the season at a much cheaper rate than Eberle's current deal. In addition, EDM receives a blue chip D-man prospect who could be NHL ready by the start of next season - which helps alleviate Sekera's ACL injury.

I like it all except eberle, whom think at his current contract and play the last few years is not worth that w/o salary retained by EDM. the last I heard Turris is very much part of OTT future tho.

not really a fan of eberle who couldn't even produce well enough to stay on a line with mcdavid but the other moves are nice
