Well, for starters, you can’t have Zadina on the fourth line. You might as well send him down to GR to play in the 1st line. There is no value for him or DET playing that role.

But, adding Klingberg would probably marginally make us better than we are as is, which I believe to be a borderline playoff team.

It’s just such a tough division; I am no fan of the wings but have to admit the team could be dangerous in a few years

Trade is likely to happen if this was their roster but they prob get first wildcard even with the tough conference.

First off no need for klingberg, we have enough defencemen right now. Second I don't think we make the playoffs but we win a few more games than last year and we don't get spanked as much, if really at all. I think we battle for a wild card spot but come up short. Honestly I hope we don't make the playoffs but just start winning more, hoping for one more good prospect with that first round pick.

I hope we finish no better than the 11th worst team.

I think it will be Ottawa competing with Boston. I'd say Detroit finishes about the same as this year. They will be better but they weren't the only team to improve in the east.

Zadina did improve defensively and he was back checking like a mad man. He worked his ass off last season was the first forward back quite a bit. It's the reason why Yzerman isn't quite ready to give up on him.

I agree but still not a recipe for maximizing his value. He needs reps with consistent linemates and build chemistry to let his offensive game flourish like it should.

Also, I just realized I wrote third line when I meant to say fourth line. I edited my post to correct it.

I agree he would be wasted on the 3rd line.

Are those who they think are elite players in the draft, top 11?

No, I just want a shot at the #1 pick.
