Description
DISCLAIMER: This is a hypothetical scenario in which Bergeron or Krejci do not resign, which I know is very likely at this point.

Earlier this week I made an ACGM exploring the possibility in which Bergy and Krejci don't resign leading Donald Clarke Sweeney to trade Pasta. In that I made a trade with Calgary that was pretty close to perfection if I say is myself. However, I've seen a couple of Devils ACGM's that have had a trade for Pasta in them recently so I'm going to make another attempt this time with NJ. Just like the last one I'm using the Eichel trade as a guideline for this one (Roster Player, Prospect, and Draft Capital) . The two roster players I was choosing between were Mercer and Bratt. I went with Bratt because he's got more experience and I'm sure that Devs will probably be wanting to hold onto Mercer. The biggest need in the Bruins prospect pool is defenseman. I would believe the other player that would be expendable in this case would be Mukhamadullin.

So what do you say, is it fair?

I think that is the return for an 8yr sign and trade. Not for one year of pasta.

If you made a Hall -- Zacha -- Bratt line, I'd be more for it.

(but I don't think NJD moves Bratt)

If he had an extension, I think he would get one other piece, no offense to Bratt.

Maybe something small. I don't see jersey touching a trade like this without assurance they are getting an extension.

Oh for sure, only way is if they traded Bratt unsigned which I wouldn't see them doing unless they thought he was going to get more than they are willing to pay in arbitration.

Anaheim says Nah, we need a right D or switch hitter, too heavy at Left D already. Reilly's contract is backloaded on real money, if we are going to pay a guy 4 million bucks, may as well go sign someone in FA to a 4x2 and save the pick.

Honestly, I wouldn’t trade Bratt for Pastrnak even one for one at this point.
I believe Bratt is pretty much just as good as Pastrnak but has his prime ahead of him, while Pastrnak is exiting his.
Rather just pick Pastrnak up in next years FA.

Pastrnak isn't exiting his prime, he's not even 27 yet, LMFAO
