It's set up like a "Future Considerations" trade that immediately pays off with JT Miller being the FC

We shouldn't be trading Matt Roy for any rental unless it's for Travis Sanheim, specifically. And speaking of LhD's, we need a top LhD a lot more than we need another top-line forward, no matter how good Miller is. The fact that we have 15 forwards under contract right now, with only Byfield, Kaliyev and Kupari waivers-exempt, makes it difficult to absorb Miller into the lineup, as does the fact that we have two pretty good top lines with Kempe-Kopitar-Fiala and Moore-Danault-Arvidsson.
