At this point Pearson won't return anything IMO. There's still some half-decent free agent wingers available for cheap, so despite the fact Pearson is a useful player on-ice, his contract won't be attractive now that most teams have spent their money. I could see a team giving up a pick for him at the deadline though.

Yeah, it's not impossible. I think they fleeced OTT for Hamonic because he's a RHD and apparently Pierre McGuire liked him, haha.

And I agree a forward needs to go, but they might as well get value for a more valuable asset. Miller is the obvious choice because of his contract situation and talent, Garland is next, then possibly Hoglander if he were able to return a young RHD or C on an ELC.

i dont think miller gets dealt before the season starts but if he isnt gonna resign you defenitly have to move him, i think it would be a mistake to move either of garland or hogs unless someone overpays and you get back a premier young RHD
