Montreal Canadiens 202223 Season

Created by: canadi
Team: 2022-23 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 29, 2022
Published: Jul. 29, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Assuming they don't heavily overperform, this is what I'd like to see happen. Remember these trades and signings are never going to be perfect, they're almost more of a framework for a deal,

Ducks say no, our roster is set. Players come in packaged with picks only.

Oh please, Hoffman would be a first or possibly second line player on your roster for a 4th round pick lmfao, get out of here. If he can score some goals for ya maybe some people might tune in for the games lol cause you're literally last in the TV ratings lol.

Price is likely to retire due to the swellings in his knees so idk how realistic that Allen trade is tbh.

However, i think you might actually be able to get more for Anderson by the deadline if he ups his game a little from last year. If Chiarot got you a 1st , 4th and a prospect then Josh could land you at least an equal package if conditions are right! smile

I think you will still need to pay the B’s to take Dadonov. He is just really over hyped in my eyes

The kids need the ice time to continue there development, and Hoffman will be gone before we are ready to compete. Ducks decline. Only bad contracts in with picks, cap space is far more valueable than hoffman

Buffalo really won't have interest in Armia. They have too much youth pushing for roster spots and plenty of options on the wing.

A 3rd is basically just paying for the retention. Depends if he's needed at the deadline.

Never know with injuries or player movement. Even then, if you have cap space to spare you can extend your roster for added insurance.
