some how the worst part of this is paying Lawson crouse 4 million dollars a year for five years. He's always been over rated around here, but wow, that's a new level

As a Hawks fan we have some PTSD when it comes to Nylander's, but I don't dislike this deal. We could probably get a pretty damn good return for Willy if we flip him. I do think we would want at least one younger piece coming back though.

So hawks downgrade from Kane to Nylander then downgrade from Murphy to kerfoot and holl and a they get is a late first? Not really appealing for the hawks

Chicago deal doesn't make any sense. They're obviously tearing it completely down to the studs before they rebuild, so if they're moving Kane & Murphy, why wouldn't they focus on picks and prospects coming back instead of a pair of pending UFAs and a guy in Nylander who most likely leaves after next season for nothing?
