Honestly, if the Canes are going Aho-Staal-Necas at the dot, I don't hate the idea of Bonino at the 4C for them. He's still somewhat productive (basically 25-35 points each of the last 7 seasons as a bottom-6 type of guy) and is strong defensively, plus he's a pending UFA. He's 100% the type of guy I'd try and target at the deadline with retention, plus he's got that thing we know all GMs love when they're gearing up for a playoff run - 2 rings.
