Canes and leafs

Honestly this season will go 1 of 2 ways, leafs will make it far or another round 1 exit which would result in huge changes (should have happened this offseason imo)

Drop the Leafs and the Rangers and move the Canes up to contender. The Leafs for obvious reasons, and the Rags should be dropped just because of how much they struggled against backup and 3rd goalies against the Pens and Canes.

how do the leafs go from not making it past the first round for a whole childhood to becoming a cup contender and after this off-season the team has gotten worse

If our goaltending is there, anything could happen. That’s a big “if” though.

On paper they have one of the best teams in the league and are definitely a strong contender. If they play hard and up to their regular season game they will go far, otherwise it’s going to be another disappointing season. You can disagree that’s fine but that shows how low your iq is no problem.

see the game isnt played on paper they are good yes but they are not built to win in the playoffs they are very soft and their stars dont produce when the lights are bright the grit the leafs do have is ancient thornton simmonds and spezza (yes im aware some of these guys dont play for the leafs anymore) guys like that dont bring your hopes up too high

oh forgot to mention you should probably swap rangers and isles as well
