All of the presented deals swing in favour of the Penguins to some degree. Nothing of actual substance has been offered for Chychrun. I think the Buffalo/Detroit deals are close depending on the actual on-ice needs for either the Red Wings or Sabres but still see more value going to Pittsburgh than from.

What do you think ARI are after? Also, the 2 other trades can be slightly varied.

I don't think the ask of four first-round equivalents has changed. At minimum something equivalent in quality to what Eichel returned.

Dumolin and Joseph probably peak as assets worth a second-round pick right now. Kapanen and Poulin as third-rounders. The value simply isn't there nor do I believe it actually exists in the Penguins' system.

I agree Rasmussen and Blueger had similar production but Rasmussen is 4yrs younger and Blueger is a UFA.

I do think Blueger is better but Rasmussen has more upside.. however you are getting a good young dman in POJ and only adding a 3rd and 7th.. maybe necessity isnt there but I feel like value wise it is close.

I agree the value is fine and it probably could've happened but Yzerman went out and signed 10 UFAs.

Honestly I'd rather he trade for Pettersson instead of signing Chiarot.

Buffalo declines, Kapanen is softer than a pillow and adds little otherwise.

I dont like Mittelstadt but there is 0 incentive for Buffalo to do that trade
