Appreciate the optimism, but I see us as a 88ish point team.

Holy hell at those point totals. Never have a problem with a fan's optimism though. Also a low 2's GAA for Comrie, woah.

Hope you are correct. But I don’t see Quinn scoring 30, Peterka and Asplund being 20 goal scorers.
If this happens Adams is going to have big decisions next offseason

You mean like Dahlin getting 73, Tuch at 63, Middlestadt with 56, Cozens with 25 goals, Quinn with 61, Peterka with 25 goals, Lyubushkin with 20 points,. Woof

Tuch was on pace for 62 this year he will hit 70 having a full off-season will help. Cozens can easily score 25 goals. Quinn will probably have 35-40 points.

Woof. 35-40 is not 61. Zegras playing top minutes hit 61. Raymond playing top minutes had 57. Quinn on the 3rd line aint coming close. Tuch a little over .5 point per game. I'd imagine 50 plus. Gonna be a fun year though. The Atlantic is so much better overall

I wasn’t saying Quinn was going to hit 60 I said he’s going to have a 35-40 point season. He’s going to be on the first power play and has a great shot so he will put up good numbers. Tuch will have a higher point per game than .50 I don’t think he’s going to regress from last season.

Great comments.
Let me start the goal total is not 280 but rather 334, @sabres1108 you only added the forward total and left out the defense goals.
The top for scoring teams last year were: Florida Panthers 340, Toronto Maple Leafs 315, Colorado Avalanche 312, St. Louis Blues 311, and Minnesota Wild 310

Second, with Comrie at 2.29 GAA and Anderson at 3.11 GAA the Sabres would only give up 202 goals
The lowest GAA teams were: Carolina Hurricanes 202, New York Rangers 207, Calgary Flames 208, Boston Bruins 220, Pittsburgh Penguins 229, and Tampa Bay Lightning 233

This team would have GF - GA difference of 132
The teams with the highest difference were: Florida Panthers 94, Calgary Flames 85, Colorado Avalanche 78, Carolina Hurricanes 76, St. Louis Blues 69, and Toronto Maple Leafs 62

Last year the Sabres scored 232 and gave up 290 goals.
I have a lot of faith in Granato, but he is not Jesus Christ capable of turning water into wine.
Increasing the GF by 100 and decreasing the GAA by 88 would take a miracle on the same level as walking on water.

A more modest/reasonable prediction would be to add about 45 goals which would place them among the top 15 last year and reduce the GA by an equal amount to 245 putting them among the top 15 last year.

Quinn, Comrie, Peterka, and Dahlin where my over statements...obviously could be true if we get lucky but definitely doubtable. Only reason Lyubushkin made sense for me was because he is going to be playing next to power and they probably will get lots of Ozone starts Cozens and Mittelstadt are my breakout players so idk felt that was ok amount for both

Quinn 31-30-61
Peterka 20-25-45

Those point totals are incredibly optimistic. First of all, they aren't even guaranteed to be on the roster. I expect both will be spending time in ROC.

Secondly, go look at the 2019 draft. Hughes had 56 points last year. Zegras 61. Caulfield 43. Boldy 39. Cozens had 38. Those are best-case scenarios.

I like the NHLe calculator: https://frozenpool.dobbersports.com/frozenpool_nhle.php

That has Quinn scoring 55 pts in a 82GP. Problem is, Quinn has never played more than 62 games in a season and I highly doubt he plays 62 NHL games this year.
It has JJP scoring 39 points, again in 82GP.

Samuelsson 38 pts??
- He should see a boost if he stays on the 1st pairing. I'll grant you that but he had 0 goals and 10 points last year. Seems like too big of a jump.

Johnson
- He doesn't even have an NHL contract and isn't likely to sign one this year, yet you have him with 30 points?
