Okay, okay see what you are doing here. I am just going to comment on the TOR VAN trade.

Value is okay, but doesn't meet the need of VAN. They need young solid top 4 d-man, preferably with some defense and physicality to his game.

That VAN-TOR trade makes zero sense. Puts the Canucks further over the cap... and does nothing but acquire us more below-average bottom six forwards and a soft top 6 center. We already have those.

Jackets can't do it. They need cap space for their UFA and RFAs next summer and the price to dump cap next year is going to be savage.
