Big trade with the Ottawa Senators

Description
I'm both a Flames and Sens fan. The reason the I think both should do this trade is because it fits a need for both teams. Flames need a promising young center that has the potential to be a 2C in a long run. Sens need another top 4 RHD to complete their lineup. Pinto would be overshadowed by Norris and Stutzle, and the Sens still have options for 3C and 4C. Obviously Zaitsev needs to be taken back for salary reasons, and that's why JBD is used as a sweetener. If Sens get a legit stud RHD like Weegar, and still have Thomson, JBD becomes more redundant.

It would be a win for the Sens, but a loss for the Flames in my opinion. Flames need cap space to resign Huberdeau (assuming he isn’t dealt at the deadline), and I’m pretty sure Pinto and JBD are going to be getting raises as well. I don’t think the Flames really want to go through another offseason where another star leaves for nothing. Lucic coming off the books will help the Flames, but taking on Zaitsev’s contract should probably be a no go for the Flames. Zaitsev to a different team to make the cap work would probably get this done though, with minor adjustments that is.

Sens Decline HUGE overpay for Wegar, when he is UFA in one more season.
JDB is a top 4 D whne he matures.
Pinto is a 2nd C on most teams when he matures his NHL game,
and add a 1st to that.

No, Ottawa is not interested in doing that. Pinto is slotted as a big piece in their future.
