No thanks from the Kings. Byfield is maybe the best prospect to learn under Kopitar and Danault. Clarke being tutored by Doughty is also solid. No knock on Suzuki but you are asking for the main pieces of our rebuild who we hope put us over the top as a competitor.

The Kings couldn’t even afford this trade from a cap perspective, they have like $3.9M to sign Durzi and Anderson.

Very intriguing trade. I'd think about it for a long time.

But essentially, it's Suzuki for Byfield and Drouin/Harris for Clarke.

I'd remove Suzuki and Byfield and add FLA's 1st, so it would be Drouin (retained), Harris and a 1st for Clarke. Even then I don't think LA would do it.

Kings have no cap space to take on 10 million in cap for Suzicki and Drouin with on Byfield coming of the NHL books. Plus, you get a startup rebuild.
