I like Newhook and Girard, but Dallas isn't trading one of the franchise cornerstones. Robertson is too valuable for them to move for anything less than a replacement for his production.

Even in this hypothetical Robertson trade, I don't see Dallas entertaining an offer from Colorado unless someone like Rantanen is involved (not insinuating a 1-for-1).

Yeah I don’t think Rantanen for Robertson would be fair to Dallas. And Colorado probably wouldn’t be willing to add to the deal.

Oh it's absolutely just a hypothetical, fantasy-land scenario. But it's really the only kind of scenario where I see Dallas trading a 40-goal, 22-year old as well.
