Give me one good reason for any of these teams to accept these trades

Jets Dubois move is a first then random names, outside of Caufield and Suzuki, it starts with a first

Well, since PLD says he wants to test the UFA market, Jets just might think about it.

The rest are terrible. But that Jets deal has a framework that has possibility.

Dvorak, Ylönen with a pick is what I might be thinking if I were Chevy. No need for defense. Jets have that.

Like I said, a workable framework there.

Doubtful. They get a better quality offer at the TDL or next off season. The above is a terrible offer that doesn’t suit any of the Jets needs

I think he will end up in Montreal one way or another, I just think WPG will at least want a first or a top prospect. Dvorak and Norlinder don’t do much for them

Dvorak plays 2C for a season or two while Perfetti rounds into form. Flips to LW if Perfetti transitions to centre.

Norlander, agree, nothing.

Ylönen and a pick would be where I would head.

Why would you buyout Byron?
He comes back a couple games then goes on IR
Given his hip and knee issues i expect this will be his last season assuming he plays a game that is

Holy sh*t that Stars trade is horrible, I thought Bourque to Montreal trades would end after Petry got traded, guess I was wrong.

Dallas won’t trade one of their top prospects for… that.

The Jets have no incentive to trade Dubois for a pile of nothing.

Why ?

You assume he'll sign and not got to Free Agency
You're assuming MTL wants to sign him early while dealing with Caufields payday

Reality is MTL is better off waiting until Free Agency
Take a run at him his last year before he goes UFA if we're in the playoff mix
But any earlier makes no sense as we're already overloaded on our roster.
After this years TDL its less of a problem
After next years TDL if we sell then we'll have like 9m cap after signing everyone not including Price who likely will be on LTIR by then again.
Plenty of cap to sign PLD

I say until then invest
Hoffman scored 243/430 career points on PP for 49.5% of all his production
MTL had the worst Powerplay on Average the past 5 years of any team consistently .
MSL showed up and suddenly we're producing

Even on a crap PP unit 37% of his offense came from PPP
My point is simple, with all the pieces we got that are high end skilled players
Guys like Drouin and Hoffman will play a bigger role this year with Limited D options

There's more value in letting MSL pick out his roster now and then sell what left before bringing in PLD
Guys like that you dont bring in at the start of a Build

The three prospects you offered will get you Joel Kiviranta and a 5th round pick from the Stars

I think everything in here, starting from the title, is just wrong.
