Missing multiple firsts in value to ANA before you even get to what Klingberg without retention let alone with 50%

Yeah i dont see this happening at all this season just based off the 1yr deal Klingberg has, only way i see them parting ways even if its a bad season by ducks is if they get a late 2nd/early3rd and okay prospect or a up incoming prospect from a team that wants to win now

Ducks are getting the short end of the stick, don’t see them bringing in two cap dumps in Myers (unless his play really improves) and Khudobin, who isn’t needed in Anaheim as they still have John Gibson and now that Edmonton have Jack Campbell and Washington have Darcy Kuemper, no one wants to trade for him now. I don’t think all those picks on top of Kling berg are necessary, since his salary is 50% retained. The Canucks-Stars trade is fine, but the Canucks would probably rather keep Schenn as he is a good defenceman on a great contract. Getting a plethra of picks from Dallas is exactly what the Nucks want, the Stars might be getting ripped off here 😂

It did feel like Ducks were getting shorted when i put the trade in.
I should move cap in a seperate deal instead of trying to offload it all on Anaheim and trying to get Klinger at the same time.

I did over estimate Myers’ value which didnt help this trade at all.
