Chicago rejects, We'd want more quality going back especially if we're taking on Suter and Faksa

Edit: underpay on Robertson and Oettinger

Cap dumps and a first round pick is not nearly enough to get Kane. And no chance that Suter waives his NMC to go to Chicago. If Robo signs a bridge deal it will be in the 5.5-7m range. Marchment on the 3rd line? Kessel at C? I don't think Kessel has ever played C in his NHL career, and they didn't give Marchment that contract to play in their bottom 6. Also if they do move Dobby, they won't be getting a third rounder in return unless they are sending a 2nd with Dobby. Something like Khudobin and 3rd for a 6th or Dobby and a 4th for future considerations are probably along the lines of what a dobby trade would look like, should they trade him.

The package going to Chicago has neutral value. You’d have to pay at least that much to move Faksa and Suter. JRob will make substantially more than that after a 40 goal season

I do agree as far as paying robo and otter more, i’m trying to be realistic as far as what kind of 3 year bridge deals they would be looking at
