I know it's his hometown, but there's no way you get away with paying Kane less than Weegar in the same offseason

Fair, personally I wouldnt pay him much more than that so if he wants more he can look elsewhere and the sabres just hold onto olofsson

Since when is Compher a 4th liner? Since when is Olofsson worth a first?

When olofsson puts up 20 plus goals before the deadline, and weird complaint about compher, is this his burner?

He probably scores 30 last year if healthy. Take out the 30 games where he played through an injury that prevented him from shooting and he was pacing for 35. And this isn't something new, he's done this at every level. Fantastic shooter. Honestly, not a great idea to trade him anyways.

How can you say he probably would've scored 35 goals last year when he has never scored more than 20. That's such speculation. Milan Lucic could score 20 goals if only he could skate faster and shoot better

Idk about Jokiharju. I know he’s young but he has been one of the worst defensemen in the entire league

Not a huge fan of jokiharju, he's ok. Have to keep in mind that we had cardboard cutouts in goal for a lot of games, and our centers are very young too. Again not making excuses, would like to see another year first. Plus we don't have a ton of options or depth on right d.

I wouldn't trade Olofsson, he's a 30 goal scorer. And tbh I'd prefer him in the lineup over Kane

He's a decent option for the time being, has room to grow but ya is kind of just there on the ice, doesn't make many impacts.

Yeah I mean there is no question Kane is better than olofsson imo. If he signs a sweetheart deal and we can get a 1st in a deep draft for olofsson it would be a pretty big win for adams. Power will no doubt help Jokers game greatly this year

I have a feeling Joki will be 3rd pair with Bryson. Power and Lyubushkin

Take out his stats from November 21 to January 22 and that number shoots back up. He was also 22 years old and was not a top 10 pick in the draft yet has played in the league since 18
