Description

Don will not do much more with this team. Their priority is to keep Necas, but will be shipped for the right price. I believe that window is closed.

Another option is to keep Gardiner/Bear pairing. Find a place for Necas to go, the real question is if Necas is traded for a star player or game changer, where will we obtain the Cap Space?

I think this is the most realistic option.

These are not my thoughts…Jack Johnson will never be a Hurricane. Canes would bury Gardiner in the minors before buying him out.

Canes cannot buy Gardiner out. He's on LTIR, he's not eligible for it.

Also, remember when the Canes drafted Jack Johnson and he said he never wanted to play in Carolina? Let's not do that again

I like bringing that name up. His trade tree includes Tim Gleason, Josef Vasicek, Scott Walker etc
